The Roby Family

Those that know me know I don’t get real excited about tromping down to the cineplex to see a movie these days.  Well, Spike Jonze came along and seized the opportunity to direct an adaptation of the Maurice Sendak classic Where the Wild Things Are.

I’ve been following the trailers for months now and the newest one is just amazing.  For the first time since Star Wars:  Episode I (which didn’t turn out so hot) I’m actually excited about going to see a movie the weekend it comes out.  The movies releases on October 16th, which also happens to be OU/TX weekend and we are seeing U2 that weekend in Norman.  Crazy!
