The Roby Family

Friday afternoon Josh discovered no one was utilizing the bank’s tickets to the Tulsa Drillers baseball game so before he left for the day he snagged them.  He’d been to the new ONEOK Field but the family had not enjoyed the stadium.  Not only would this be the family’s first trip to the ballpark but it was also a fireworks night.  We arrived a few innings late but it didn’t matter and in fact might have helped the boys last through the fireworks.  The boys had a great time watching the game but really enjoyed playing on the giant playground just beyond the right field fence.

The home team lost but we had a great time.  If you haven’t been out to ONEOK Field yet it is definitely worth a trip!

We celebrated Independence Day 2009 in a laid back Roby kind o’ way.  We did a little clearance rack browsing at the mall, followed by a cookout at the Housley’s and finally an attempt at viewing fireworks down by the river. It was a great day even if the fireworks show were cut short due to a major malfunction.
